Bur Bur and Friends was created by two moms who identified a need in the marketplace for books representing multi-cultural children and families. What makes this product line unique is that the Bur Bur and Friends books educate children about sports, outdoor exploration and active play. The book series also highlights greater principals like teamwork, sportsmanship, practice, following directions, etc. Typically, the characters in the books are going through a first time experience or adventure.

The first four books in the popular series highlight characters Bur Bur or Anna. Future releases will feature all of the other characters to include Mateo, Kenya, Lily, Connor and Baby Joey.

“Reaction to the books has been extremely positive and the media attention has been very successful. Children, parents and grandparents all fall in love with these books the moment they pick them up,” said JoAnne Pastel, president and founder of Farmer’s Hat ProductionsTM in Minneapolis.

These books have been ranked as “new and notable” by the toy industry and are receiving local and national attention.
