(We love the fact Sun Country has added a second non-stop daily flight to SFO.) We have never been one to reduce our leisure travel even with a young child. Our daughter has been on International flights to Hong Kong, China, Jamaica and Mexico, as well as many domestic flights. We have accepted the service level as average at best, when traveling with children. THAT ALL CHANGED on our last trip with Sun Country. It started at the ticket counter, what a pleasant agent. She even volunteered to help us with our car seat and luggage to get it over to the TSA area. Next, we were greeted at the gate by a very friendly Sun Country employee who took the time to chat with our 3 year old and be patient as she acted like a big girl and handed him her ticket. The exceptional service continued as we stepped on the plane. NEVER have we received a children's activity book with crayons from any airline. We typically pack our own. Another pleasant surprise !!! The free cheeseburger and chocolate chip cookie was a hit with our daughter as well. The in-flight crew was friendly. Also, I enjoyed the pilot commenting on landmarks as we flew out to San Francisco. All around a great experience. We are taking a vacation in February to the Mexican Riviera and were happy to see the travel package includes Sun Country for the flight. Keep up the good work and we will keep coming back. There was ten of us 6 adults and 4 children and I want to thank you and your team for it was a great experence for us. When the children were on the plane they received a nice packet to keep them busy. The food was nice and the people very freindly. Our plane was on time as scheduled, flight attendants were courteous and polite. The highlight of the trip after we landed and were at the chute was for our 6 year old granddaughter who was invited to look in the cockpit and see all the controls and even sit in the captain's chair. If only we would have had a camera for her to have this delightful picture for her scrapbook it would have added allot. We also enjoyed the food and beverages that are served on your plane. We appreciate that you have a new policy with the pillows and blankets. This is a health issue and we feel comfortable to be able to purchase these items and to be able to keep them at the end of the flight. Another plus was the color book and colors and cereal that was given to our granddaughter as there was good information about the plane which she could learn about. As we flew through the clouds our granddaughter commented that her great grandmother just passed through these clouds just a couple of days earlier as her great grandmother whom the children refer to as Grandma GG died and we were coming home for her funeral. My little boys are 8 and 5, and while they are good travelers, they often need something to keep them busy. They loved the Bur-bur activity book, and it kept them from fighting and fidgeting for more than an hour. They completed most of the activities in the book, and ate every bite of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch, a nice alternative to the other food provided on the flight.
