I didn't think about going to my son's school like that. I stayed home with my 2 year old daughter and watched it all day. She liked the singing but wasn't too interested in the rest. Today is history... And I am so proud that I am and was alive to witness it!!! You know, I didn't feel much of anything during the whole thing until I saw the crowd and then I saw Obama's face. He looked as if he was glowing... I hope this man can make things wonderful for us! I hope he pulls the troops out of Iraq, helps everyone get back on their feet and I hope he works his hard to be the best he can be... I was here at home, folding laundry while watching it!! I was able to interview people for my radio show and get their reactions of Obama being sworn in. I met one old lady who was a friend of Rosa Parks, and who had marched with MLK. I got to talk to her for a minute. That was awesome! To be able to talk to someone who was there marching for civil rights, and the fact that she is here to see the fruits of her labor.
