Bur Bur and Friends Blog is a resource for parents, educators, caregivers and anyone interested in the well being of children. Topics include conversations about the parenting experience as well as informative information relevant to kids.

Bur Bur and Friends Blog is owned by Farmer’s Hat Productions whose tagline is “Growing kids through diverse learning experiences.” Bur Bur and Friends was created to help kids cultivate their self-esteem through learning about sports and outdoor exploration through real life experiences. Bur Bur and Friends features a cast of multicultural characters and is an award winning children’s book series. The series was created by two moms, ( JoAnne Pastel and Kakie Fitzsimmons ), and is based off of real life children, including their own.

Parent Picks awards are nominated based on recommendations from Nickelodeon’s local city editors. The nominees are then voted for by real parents. The 2009 award winners will be featured on ParentsConnect throughout the year.
