What are you grateful for this Thanksgiving?
November 25th, 2009The sound of laughter from children, seeing them have a desire to learn and explore new things, seeing the light bulb turn on in their little minds, teaching them, learning from them, watching them have a desire to be part of something larger than themselves, etc. These are just a few things out of so many to be thankful for.
Years ago, I came across a reading that I thought was powerful and as time has gone by, I like to read it prior to our Thanksgiving holiday celebration. It is about gratitude and how sometimes we can be thankful for things that are hard. It is from the book “The Language of Letting Go” By Melodie Beattie. We hope that you will read it and perhaps share it with your loved ones too. Click here to read it.
At Farmer’s Hat Productions, we would like to wish you and your families a very happy and safe Thanksgiving and holiday season. We want you to know we are grateful that you are here with us and joining in the conversation about all things important for children.
Please share below: If you could think of at least five things you are thankful for over the holiday season, what would they be?
