Bur Bur and Minnesota Twins TC Bear Meet Again with Award Winning First Pitch Children’s Book

August 28th, 2010

The Minnesota Twins hosted the first annual Kids Day Event for Champion’s Club ticket holders.  Each ticket holder was invited with their family to have the opportunity to play catch on the grass at Target Field, exclusive tours of the Twins Clubhouse, kid friendly breakfast buffet, photos with TC Bear among other fun activities for children.  A gift bag was also provided to each child.  The gift bag included our very own “Bur Bur Throws Out the First Pitch” book to every child 6 years old and under in attendance.

“Bur Bur Throws Out the First Pitch” is a wildly popular children's book based on a true story about William aka. Bur Bur’s experience of preparing and practicing weeks before to throw out the first pitch at a Minnesota Twins baseball game at the ages of 2 ½ and 3 ½ years old.  Bur Bur and TC Bear had the opportunity to revisit old memories and to view the book together.  This book is a favorite must have for young baseball fans and is the recipient of several awards!

These beautifully illustrated children's books are a must see. To view pages within the Bur Bur Throws Out The First Pitch book, please visit http://burburandfriends.com/products
